I have 3 cameras, however I only often only use 2 of them. As one is very old which i've had with me since I was young and it was my first camera.
I currently have a digital compact camera that I carry with me most the time as it is convenience to take with me on the go. A DSLR camera that I use and take with me if I know that I'll be taking pictures for any specific reasons such as site seeing. Lastly the camera on my phone, I have my phone on me most the time and it would be quicker for me to take picture from my phone than my camera.
For holiday, theme parks, beach and similar trips the chances are that I will only carry my digital compact camera and my phone in these occasions, in case of damage and thief. However the main reason is that it's much more compact, convenience and to carry than taking my DSLR camera along with me. ^_^
